Written by and for students in grades 4th - 8th, this website offers a great opportunity for your students to write for a real audience.
Individual students can post items or you can showcase the writing of an entire class.
www.YourHub.com/NextGen includes:
- news stories and photos of interest to students about events at school or in the community
- creative writing
- reviews of books, movies, computer games, and toys
- a calendar of kid-friendly events
- “Talk back” where students can comment on other students’ writing
- web links for more information about stories printed in Tuesday’s Colorado Kids
The best stories posted to the site are considered for publication in Colorado Kids in The Tuesday Denver Post or the NextGen feature in the print YourHub.com product.
Anyone can visit the site, but students must have parental permission to post on the site.
