The Mini Page is a syndicated, four-page tabloid written for young children found each Wednesday in The Denver Post. Activities:
1. Draw a picture of your favorite toys having an adventure. Write a caption for your picture describing their adventure.
2. Write a paragraph about your favorite Pooh character.
3. In your newspaper, circle in red any words or pictures about animals you might find in a zoo. Circle in blue any animals you might find in a forest.
4. Find an interesting newspaper story. Write about what happens next to the people in the story.
5. Find a place in your newspaper that would make a good setting for a story. Use three people from the newspaper to be in the story.
