 The teacher’s guide, “Power Pack: Lessons in Civics, Math and Fine Arts for NIE Week 2011,” features three units suitable for use with the eEdition of The Denver Post. It targets three subject areas vital to developing well-rounded, successful students and citizens — civics, math and fine arts. In each subject area, the “Power Pack” features standards-based activities to enhance student learning in elementary school, middle school and high school.
As an added bonus, there are two “e-book” lessons for interactive whiteboards: one on fine arts and one on civics.
